An exciting, fast-paced sport that has recently been introduced to our extra mural activities. Played throughput the year from term 1 to term 3 with practice sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 14H00 to 16H00. The goal is to equip learners with the skill and be part of leagues in and outside of Polokwane.
Soccer is played from term 1 to term 2 by our boys and from term 2 to early term 3 by our girls. Practice sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 14H00 to 16H00. Our girls’ soccer team were the proud winners of the Kay Motsepe League in 2017 and 2018. While our under 19 boys made it to the semi-finals in 2018.
Our greatest achievement was re-establishing boy’s hockey team after four years.. Two of our under 16 boys were then selected to play for the Limpopo Hockey Team at National level in June 2022. The tournament took place in Cape Town and Gauteng. The hockey season is now running from term 1 to term 2 each year and practice is held every Tuesday and Thursday 14H00 to 16H00
Netball is a fun sport that fosters team spirit and makes a space for everyone who wants to get onto the court. The netball season starts in term 2 ending in term 3 with training taking place every Tuesday and Thursday from 14H00 to 16H00. Our under 15 girls were selected for the Limpopo teams under the following tournaments; Fast five and Kay Motsepe in 2021 and 2022.
